Hi,

currently we use DM8168 in a custom design.

We plan to use DM8148 for a smaller DVR setup in future.

My question is: Are DM8148 and DM8168 pin compatible ?

Hi Holger,

No, DM8148 and DM8168 are not pin compatible. You can compare the datasheets.

DM816x is pin-to-pin and software compatible with AM389x.

DM814x is pin-to-pin and software compatible with DM8127 and AM387x devices.
