AM3352: ADC inputs at power up time

Hi expert,

In customer's design, AM3352 ADC pin is connected with some ADC device directly, customer ask that if there is issue that the ADC device power up before AM3352?

    Hi,

    Yes, this is an issue. ADC inputs are not fail-safe and external voltage should not be applied to them before the processor power supplies have fully ramped up and stabilized. See parameter "Steady state max voltage at all IO pins" in section 5.1 from the AM335x Datasheet Rev. J. Also check Note 8 below the table.
