Doubts about AES hardware acceleration

Goo morning,

I have a question related to DM368 device.

Some web pages seems to state that the DM368 is able to support an hardware accelerated AES encription (http://www.linuxfordevices.com/c/a/News/TI-DM368IPNCMT5-IP-camera-design/,"The package includes an ISP Tuning Tool 1.0, a hardware-accelerated AES encryption module"; or http://www.psialliance.org/documents/SecuTech10complete.pdf slide 27new AES Encryption support).

I would like to understand if there is some hardware criptographic co-processor, or if this is simply a software optimized algorithm version.

Any help/link/hnt will be appreciated.
