I want to write app similar to TI RTOS DIAG with some more functionality added. Can you guide me on how to start writing application or how to modify existing application.

Hi,

The Diag application is bare metal, so:
1) edit pdk_am437x_1_0_5\packages\ti\board\diag\makefile to add your "app1"
idkAM437x_DIAG = framework framework_loader led qspi mem mmcsd uart eeprom mcspi rtc app1
2) create a folder called app1 under diag, and create a makefile
3) create src folder and app1 source code (you can't use SYSBIOS)

Look the simple test like mem to get started.
