RTOS/AM3357: workaround for 'src' folder

Part Number: AM3357
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSBIOS

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

My customer's version control system does have an issue with the name of the 'src' folder created by the CCS/SysBios build system.

The are using the workaround from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/SYS/BIOS_FAQs#Relocating.2FRenaming_the_SYS.2FBIOS_.27src.27_subdirectory_for_BIOS.LibType_Custom

However now they want to know if we can guarantee this works with:

CCS 6.1.3
SYS/BIOS 6.42.3.35
XDCtools 3.31.3.43_core

What is the status of the mentioned enhancement request? Are we working on a new solution?

Regards,

  • Hi Frank,

The status on the enhancement request has not changed in recent past. The request is accepted and the team is expected to make this better at some point. However it has yet to be worked on.

In the meantime, the libDir workaround should still work, and after talking to the development team there is no plan on breaking it going forward. So it should be safe to use.

    Best regards,

    Vincent
