We are planning to consider AM3351 processor for one of our media player application. Please help with what will be the future plans for AM3351 sitara series. Is any plans to discontinue sitara. If we use what is the life span of the device and software support.

This processor will be use in consumer application...

Hi,

AM3351 is the latest addition to the AM335x processor family. There are no plans to discontinue this device. Software support from TI is available through this forum for the AM335x Processor SDK: www.ti.com/.../PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X
