Hello,

We want to implement AVS using PMBus mode.

In order to support PMBus mode, it is required to know the VCNTL (VID Values).

As according to various app note, the VID values stores in some register in K2E device, so that I2C can read that register and command the power module accordingly.

I am not able to find the register in any of the K2E user guide. Please let me know that which K2E user guide have details regarding Class-0 SmartReflex VID values.

Hi Tarang,

I suggest you review the information in the TI Design Generating AVS SmartReflex Core Voltage for K2E Using TPS544C25 and PMBus Reference Design. It has the information needed to implement AVS using PMBus.

Hello Sir,

I have already read this document but this doc do not tell about registers.
This doc only says that
"Software running on the K2E SoC reads the required voltage level from the SmartReflex ™subsystem
registers and send the proper VOUT command using the I2C interface connected to the PMBus input of the TPS544C25"
I want to know that in which user guide " SmartReflex ™subsystem registers" defination and information is given.

Please let me know this information.

That information can be found in the software documentation Smart Reflex Class0 Temperature Compensation User's Guide referenced in the required software section of the TI design.
