Hi,

Can you help me in understanding interfacing of an external camera via fpd link and using the same for ADAS front camera applications ??

Can you also help me with some example cameras and converter boards if required.

Hi Vadivel,

A typical setup would look something like Camera -> Serializer ====FPD Link III===== De Serializer -> TDA2Ex.
There are couple of options available on serializer / de-serializers (depending on the interface supported by camera and pixel clock).

For a parallel interface between camera (720P) & serializer, please checkout www.spectrumdigital.com/.../

Please note that this kit is for multiple camera module and could potentially be used to evaluate 1 camera solution.

Hi Sujith,
We looked at that Spectrum part what you have suggested already.But the issue is that camera will support only upto 30fps,Whereas we need minimum of 60fps. Single camera will do for me currently. Can you pls suggest some other options.

Hi Rishab,
Thanks for sending the info. It looks that DS90UB953 & DS90UB954 both are available as individual electronic Components only.Where as i am looking like Eval KIT or full Pcb where in i can Plugin with My EVM and Start the development and Testing. Can you Pls suggest.

Hi Vadivel,

Currently there is no EVM available.

You either need to lower the resolution or you need to lower the fps requirements.

The max pixel clock value is 100 MHz and the calculation will be 100 MHz/ width/height/2.
