One of my customer is currently trying to operate UART1 in AM437x and are facing a difficulty that the UART Tx FIFO does not transmit the characters loaded to it (the FIFO level does not clear, i.e. stay as the number of characters added to it).
They have a driver for the UART which operates using a base address, when changing the base address from UART1 to UART0, the driver operates normally.
They have enabled the UART and checked that it is functional using the PRCM_CM_PER_UART1_CLKCTRL register.
