No setup.sh in DVSDK install

Hello,

I have downloaded and installed ti-dvsdk_omapl138-evm_04_03_00_06 ( http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/dvsdk/DVSDK_4_00/latest/index_FDS.html ) on Ubuntu 10.04 but during the setting-up explained in the Software Developers Guide I encountered a problem:

I don't have any setup.sh in my install folder, so I can't go further.

Any ideas ?

DVSDK is legacy software for this platform that is no longer supported. This SDK provided linux kernel 2.6.3x with multi-media features. Are you sure your installation was completed correctly. The setup.sh, Rules.make and makefile are provided the root directory so it is suprising that you dont see it in there.

Curious to know why are you using this SDK , do you have any multi-media or gstreamer requirements? If not, we recommend that you use the MCSDK1 .1 release. Please note, that there is software refresh planned around this device which will support newer mainline Linux kernel 4.4 which should be available soon.

This is odd... Because the wiki page from where I got the information for using DVSDK instead of MCSDK has changed...
But if you are saying that DVSDK is no longer supported and that a new version should be available soon I'll wait... But when is it going to be released ?

The new release with Linux kernel and mainline support should be available in early April time frame and this will be support the OMAPL138 platform.
