PSIA Compliance and the DM355

The TI Document here http://focus.ti.com/lit/ml/sprt459g/sprt459g.pdf says that the IP Ref designs have PSIA standard compliancy but does not make it clear which of the cameras have what.  In particular the DM355 design does not seem to have it.  However I read somewhere that the DM365 does have it after version 2.0 (of the DVSDK I think) and that the DM355 might have it since PSIA is entirely a software interface.

So my question is which of the DM3xx designs have it and with which versions of which software :)

Thanks

    Dear Vicki,

DM36x IPCamera Reference Design has been the first product to declare conformance to PSIA standard. Please refer http://www.psialliance.org/ConformantProductsList.html for a list of PSIA conformant products. If you are looking forward to evaluate TI IPCamera Reference design for PSIA conformance, i recommend you purchase DM368IPNC-MT5 or DM365IPNC-MT5.

TI doesn't offer the PSIA software specifically on the DM355 IPCamera Reference Design. However, as you have estimated correctly, PSIA implementation on the DM365 IPCamera Reference Design software can be backported fairly easily to DM355.

  • Thank you Jacob.  Can you point me to the sections of the 365 codebase that the PSIA Compliance stuff is?  We do have a 365 ref design package here. I presume it is in the DVSDK but it might be in the 3rd party app.

  • Hi Vicki,

IN DM365 Ref Desing, we have this code in webserver Boa folder.

You can find it in ipnc_app/network folder of the version 2.0

    Regards,
