I'd like to connect PRU_MII port dirctly to PHY chip. According to TMDXICE3359 there are 2PHY chips connected to AM3359. 1 PHY is connected to PR1_MII0 and RMII1, another is connected to PR1_MII1 and RMII2. I have 3 questions to simplify the circuit. (I use only PR1_MII0 and PR1_MI1.)
- According to TMDXICE3359 Page1, PR1_MDIO and MDIO are connected via 0 ohm. Is it possible to connect only PR1_MDIO_MDCK to PHY chip directly?
- PR1_MII1_TXCLK_RMII2_TXEN is multiplexed to PRUETH1_TXCLK or PRUETH1_TXEN by MUX IC.(TMDIXICE3359_extracted Page.1) Is it possible to connect PR1_MII1_TXCLK_RMII2_TXEN pin directly to PHY_TXCLK pin? (modified circuit)
- On Page.2 PR1_MII0_RXERR is switched by FET SWITCH from SYSBOOT13. SYSBOOT13 is disconnected by PR1_MII_CTL, and PRUETH0_RXERR_COL is connected by FET_nOE, so as not to crush each other. I think FET_SW can be switched_on by PR1_MII_CTL(if inverted to FET SW.) Is it necessary to preapare 2 control pins(PR1_MII_CTL and FET_nOE)?
