Hi,

In reference to the procedure outlined at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_DDR_PHY_register_configuration_for_DDR3_using_Software_Leveling, is source code available for the executable "DDR3_slave_ratio_search_auto.out"?

Using it with AM3358_StarterKit.gel is quite inconvenient, and far from ideal when you are checking out new hardware where the state of the DRAM is as yet unknown. And there is no debug capability in case something goes wrong. It would be much better to be able to build and debug the procedure locally.

That's too bad! What I have now is the app spinning forever and not putting anything up on the console.

I had read that -- it's also useful because it has the timing calculator spreadsheet.

The ratio search app is now running successfully. The main problem was that I had made a debug configuration by simply nominating DDR3_slave_ratio_search_auto.out as its program, and the target was not connecting properly when the debugger started. This was fixed in the Debug Configuration window by checking the box Target -> Auto Run and Launch Options -> Connect to target on debugger startup.

I also bypassed the use of the .gel file, as it was a good opportunity to test some ddr initialization code that I had already built based on the starterware\bootloader. Using the seed values from RatioSeed_AM335x_boards.xls, and by juggling the DATA_PHY_WR_DATA_SLAVE_RATIO value, I was able to get the interface running before fine tuning.
