Hi All

Is there any way other than cairo to add custom text or timestamp or anything else with gstreamer to the video?

I see there is no timeoverlay plugin support in the gstreamer-1.0 provided with the SDK.

The post you have mentioned has no extra information other than I provided here.

I know we can add custom text and image with cairo to video. But it is not simple. I am searching for something like timeoverlay plugin.

Please check Biser's answer.
Regarding timeoverlay it is part of base plugin which you could compile.
