CCS/AM3359: Cannot build EtherCAT example

Part Number: AM3359
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSBIOS,

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I'm trying to build the EtherCAT example found in sysbios_ind_sdk_02.01.03.02 for my AM3359 board. I'm using CCS 6.2 and getting the following errors:

I have floating point hardware set to hard in the GNU Compiler->Runtime menu. Am I using the correct CCS version? I got the warning:

Description Resource Path Location Type
This project was created using a version of compiler that is not currently installed: GNU_4.8.4:Linaro [ARM]. Another version of the compiler will be used during build: GNU_4.9.3:Linaro. See 'Help > Check for Updates' or visit CCS App Center to get the latest compilers. See 'Help > Install New Software...' to install older compilers. Alternatively, migrate the project to one of the available compiler versions by adjusting project properties. ethercat properties Problems

Do I need to downgrade to the GNU_4.8 toolchain? If so, how do I do this (when I try it complains I already have a newer toolchain installed).

As a side note, I am trying to build a full EtherCAT application based on the Beckhoff Slave Stack Tool. I used the tool to generate an EtherCAT application targeted for the Sitara, but am getting a collection of link errors when I try to build it. So I thought I'd go back to the example and see if I could get it to build. Is there a specific version of sysbios/xdc/starterware I need for this to work?

Thanks for your help!
