I have a L138 Development Kit board. I would like to do something I thought would be fairly straightforward, but I am struggling. I would like to fine a tutorial or example where I can run generate a binary for flashing that will run a simple "hello-world" looping/spinning/printf message (with no OS) while simultaneously running a SYSBIOS task on the DSP that is looping/sleeping/printf message.

Does anyone know of something that will help get me started?

Yes I have looked at that. It focuses on Linux and it is a lot of wasted work when I only need to ARM to do some simple bare-metal functions. I tried to go thru the procedure but was block by several issues. Frankly I am surprised TI does not provide several simple example projects/tutorials to get people started. This is close to what I need, "processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Boot_Images_for_OMAP-L138", but importing these projects into CCS5 or CCS6 has several issues to overcome also.
