Our customer sent us a question about PCIe in AM572x IBIS File(AM572.ibs).

Question:

Which is default for the Processor SDK as below in AM572x IBIS File(AM572.ibs)?

　- swing：HS,0.6V、De-emphasis：0dB

- swing：FS,1.2V、De-emphasis：0dB

- swing：FS,3.5V、De-emphasis：3.5dB

- swing：FS,3.5V、De-emphasis：6.0dB

Hi,

Thank you for your information.
But we cannot find the answer for the PCIe default in AM572x IBIS File(AM572.ibs) on the E2E thraed which you suggested.
We would appreciate if you add some explanation.

Hi,

This is the feedback from the factory team:

"The IBIS model is provided from PCIe PHY perspective as a way to check the validity of the PCB design, it does not provide a recommended SDK setting. For SDK, swing is default and can’t be set. De-emphasis is set to either 3.5dB or 6dB."
