CCS/AM4376: PRU debug tools

Hello, guys.

We aim to debug PRU core on RicoBoard (Sitara AM4376) through JTAG-emulator. At first we used SAU100v2, but it seems, they are not compatible.

What kind of emulators we can use right for PRU debug? Only XDS-type of TI? Which of XDS support it? For example, will XDS100v2 be suitable?

Through which programs we can do it? Only Code Compouser Studio?

Hi,

TI supports only CCS, other environments are not supported by us. As for emulators, please check this: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../AM437x_General_Purpose_EVM_HW_User_Guide XDSv2 is definitely supported.

Yes, it is.
But it does not have CTI-20 connector for emulator on the board..

According to the board schematics (www.myirtech.com/soft.asp, it does have a cTI-20 connector, J1. It's not populated on the board so you have to solder a connector yourself.
