Linux: Road map TI processors . There is a candidate processor inside TI to compete with NXP imx8?

I am looking for a TI candidate that can compete with Cortex A53 , or cortex A72 . Unfortunately I did not see any announcement about future road map from ti that has this information . I will apreciate any information that can affect to our desition for future plans

E2E supports technical questions regarding TI devices. We do not have roadmaps for sw or chip releases to the market.

I suggest to contact your local FAE for this query.

Hi Yordan unfortunatelly there is no clear information about this issue that`s why I ask in the forum . Based on your answer most probably the best will be use diferent manufacturer solution

My company is not a big one ; so I know that I will have not acces to a secret roadmaps or even if I have acces I can not get the processors later on . I am using many of the Ti processors , so I am familar with tools and debuging , etc .

But now several solutions with low price appear in the market ( no secret) from quad core A53 Raspberry-Pi -3 till the anuncement of iMX8 NXP , I was asking what is the procesor candidate from ti for this segment of 64bits ( but not secrets plans )

Any way no answer is also an anwer .
