DM365 Vertical Slicing Examples located in ...?

In the DM365 Video Processing Front End User's Guide (SPRUFG8B.pdf), Section 5.10.3.1.1 (Multi-Pass Resize) refers to vertical slicing in order to pass frames larger than 2176 pixels wide through the IPIPE.  The last paragraph of this section states, "The basic idea is to begin subsequent slices at exactly where previous images left off. The starting phase and pixel registers can be programmed to this exact location. This location can be calculated using the algorithm details and examples in ."  I'm assuming that after the "in" at the end of the last sentence there was supposed to be a reference to some other document describing how to calculate the pixel register settings to conduct the vertical slicing.  Does someone know which document this section is referring to?

Thanks,

Bryan

  • Bryan,

The reference in question is actually a mistake in the document, as this is not a mass market offering on the DM36x.  The mentioned algorithm can be found in the v2.0 release of DM36x IPNC reference design.  Customers who buy the IPNC ref design get this release automatically or they can download from the ftp site (details given when they purchase the DM36x IPNC). The distribution is limited to customers who buy IPNC and this is not for general release.

Please see the following page for information on the IPNC solutions available:
