AM3352: MAC to MAC connection

Hi,

We have a customer who wants to connect AM335x through MII interface
without using a PHY. I have seen E2E posts which mentions this is not allowed
only MAC to PHY is allowed.

But due to the cost and PCB Size reduction, our customer wants to implement
direct MII connection, so we wonder if this is impossible? and what problems
in general could occur. Actually we have a customer implemented direct connection through RGMII.
