RTOS/TMS320C6678: I can't upgrade SYS/BIOS ver.

Hi~

I'm using CCS 5.0.3. and other SDK is below.

MCSDK_BIOS 3.01.04.07
EDMA3_LLD 02.11.13.17
PDK_C6678 1.0.0.15
NDK 2.21.02.43
UIA 2.0.03.43
BIOS 6.31.04.27
CGT 7.4.21
XDC 3.23.04.60

When I make a Image file using that SDK, It work so good!

If I upgrade BIOS ver. at any ver, It doesn't work..

When I see the .map file, .args & .taskStackSection doesn't leave..

I can insert .taskStackSection using Linker. But .args couldn't insert..

How can I solve them?

    Hi,

    After MCSDK_BIOS there was a transition to PROCESSOR SDK (www.ti.com/.../processor-sdk-c667x). If you want to use the latest bios, you need to install the latest PROCESSOR SDK (RTOS) for C6678 & update all the components.

    Maybe you can check how .map file, .args & .taskStackSection & linker are configured & try to update them in your MCSDK to match the newer BIOS configurations, but I think it would be easier to transition to the newer PROCESSOR sdk if possible.
