66AK2G02: DDR questions

Part Number: 66AK2G02
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP2996A

Hi Team,

I have a customer using the K2G02 in their system and they have some questions:

For DDR3L memory, I found the following values from sheet 6, Power Flow Diagram, of EVMK2G schematics:

For five DDR3L chips, MT41K512M8RH-125:E.

PMIC TPS659118 -> VDD_DDR +1.35V 1175mA

LP2996A -> VDDR_VTT +0.675V 272mA

LP2996A -> VCC_DDR_VREF +0.675V  0.05mA

Q1: We will use three DDR3L chips, MT41K64M16TW-107 :J on our custom board. The 3rd chip is for ECC. Am I correct enough if I use the numbers above divided by five(for 5 DDR3 chips on EVMK2G) then multiply by three(3-chip DDR3L configuration on our board)?

VDD_DDR +1.35V (1175mA/5)*3 = 705mA

VDDR_VTT +0.675V (272mA/5)*3 = 164mA

Q2: DDR3L, MT41K64M16TW-107, only has memory size 64Mb x 16. The address lines DDR_A[15:13] are not used. Do we still need to have the DDR termination as shown in Sheet 15 of K2GEVM schematics?

Q3: DDR_CLK_P(ball number AE24) and DDR3_CLK_N are not used. The DDR PLL will be configured to generated internally. Table 4-1 of Spruhu8e (K2G TRM) shows I/O VOLTAGE VALUE is 1.8V. So, I have 1Kohm pull up to DVDD18 not the DVDD_DDR(1.35V). Am I right?

Thanks,

Brian
