AM3352: Pinmux question

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to handle the multi-function pins. For instance, one pin, "R13" is capable of GPIO, RGMII2_TXEN, GPMC_A16, GMII2_TXEN, etc... I understand there are registers that I have to set in U-boot to configure these processor pins with my desired function, my problem is I am not exactly sure which registers they are. Could you help guide me to the documentation that explains which registers need to be set, in my case I would like to set this pin for the function of RGMII2_TXEN.

Hi,

Pin functionality is set in the pad control register. There is a separate register for each I/O pin. See section 9.2.2 from the AM335x TRM Rev. O for details.

I see now how to select the mode. Is there documentation that shows something along the lines of (going off my example before):

Pin R13: Mode 0: GPMC_A0, Mode 1: GMII2_TXEN, etc. as well as the register offset for this pin?

Check Table 4-1 from the AM335x Datasheet Rev. J. For register offsets see Table 9-10 from the AM335x TRM Rev. 0. Pad control registers start from offset 0x800 and are named conf_<pin name>.
