About DM365 YUV output

Hi All：

We build our camera using DM365, It can support YUV data format output, but the YUV data format is not which we want. Just show following.

Our program is based on IPNC, from drv_isif.c, we can get YUV data(UYVYUVYVUYVY...).

How can we set isif to output YUV data(separatly)?

We cannot output like below in DM365, we call this YUV422 planer output
YYYY
UU
VV

But we can output like below, we call this YUV420 semi-planer (YUV420SP)
YYYYYYYY
UVUV

YUV420 semi-planer format is the input format for codec like H264.
You can get YUV420SP by setting data format as DRV_DATA_FORMAT_YUV420

I can get YUV420SP format data from IPIPE, I noly want to know whether can get YUV420SP data from ISIF.

No, we cannot get YUV420SP from ISIF. Only YUV422I_UYVY output from ISIF is supported.

We need to use IPIPE+RSZ to convert YUV422I to YUV420SP

You can RGB bayer output from ISIF if you have a similar sensor connected to it.

You cannot capture RGB data otherwise using ISIF

We are using aptina MT9P031 5MP sensor. Can you please tell me how to capture the RGB bayer data in ISIF?
