On the SPRS814B TMS320C6655 and TMS320C6657 Fixed and Floating-Point Digital Signal Processor datasheet page 121 it says, "Holding the device in POR, RESETFULL, or RESET for long periods of time will affect the long term reliability of the part. The device should not be held in a reset for times exceeding one hour and should not be held in reset for more the 5% of the time during which power is applied". Do you have any quantitative data to go along with this statement?

Also, this doesn't mention about the local reset (LRESET_N). Does this statement also affect local resets?

Yes, per my understanding this applies to local resets too.

Do you have any quantitative data to go along with this statement?

I don't have such information. Looping the hw designers to elaborate.

The time limits provided are sufficient. This is a lifetime reliability issue related to asymmetric aging of synchronous CMOS structures. This statement must be followed to allow the device to meet the stated lifetime reliability:

"Holding the device in POR, RESETFULL, or RESET for long periods of time will affect the long term reliability of the part. The device should not be held in a reset for times exceeding one hour and should not be held in reset for more the 5% of the time during which power is applied".
