Hello,
I am exploring the tools for the C55XX parts. The datasheet for the C5517 device (as well as some of the others) says there is a USB 2.0 High Speed PHY, so it seems like mulitchannel audio streaming should be possible. I checked out some of the examples provided, however the readme in the usb directory says "USB Audio demo has been removed from CSL USB examples. It becomes an independent project. Please contact TI".
So, my question is how difficult is it (or even possible) to program a USB interface that meets the following specs with one of these chips: 24-bit, 4in/2out, 96kHz (48kHz might be acceptable if it can do 24-bit)? Is there an example project that implements USB Audio 2.0? I'm looking for a solution that can meet these specs and also write 4 channel audio to an SD card when not plugged into USB - any device in this series, in particular I should be looking at?
Thanks!
C
