AM5706: GPMC performance compared to DM644X

Hi Champs,

We are considering to migrate our system from DM644x to AM570x. We are connecting to FPGA with DM644x on GPMC bus. As far as using same FPGA, is the same bandwidh or thouhgput realized even for AM570x?

DM6446 is a pretty old device and had different CPU speed grades available. I do not see an EMIFA throughput data readily archived for it.
What is the throughput/bandwidth you are getting on the existing DM6446 device family?
As far as I can tell the clock rate for GPMC on AM570x compared to clock rate on EMIFA on DM6446 is lower. However GPMC supports burst transactions etc, which perhaps provides better performance.
It would be good to share current performance or future performance needs for bandwidth on processor to fpga.

Is PCIe an option for fpga interface for AM570x based device?

thanks....I am expecting more questions comparing DM64x with AM57x since we are making an effort to migrate designs to AM57x family.

SOC interconnect and peripheral throughput questions on device comparison is never easy to address if we do not have the data collected and posted at the time of launch. So will likely be difficult to answer specific throughput type queries if data on DM64x does not exist .
