I have two issues about C6678 EMIF connect with an Xilinx FPGA:

1、Does C6678 EMIF bus support Burst Mode when it connect to an FPGA?

2、The Max data rate of EMIF works with an FPGA,and  the EMIF mode,sync or async?

    Hi Rong,

    The EMIF for the C6678 was included to allow for NOR boot and wasn't designed to fast data transfer. There is no burst mode support but you can set up a DMA to transfer data. We don't publish throughput rates for the EMIF but there are a number of E2E posts concerning the issue.  Also note that the C6678 doesn't support synchronous transfers. Only asynchronous transfers are available.
