RTOS: Availability of Training material.

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi,

        I wanted to go through the training series of the TI-RTOS available here. "https://training.ti.com/ti-rtos-workshop-series" .

I am experiencing streaming issues with the videos where they freeze for 2-3 minutes, and this happens every 2-3 minutes.  Although I appreciate the availability of these materials, the delivery has been little unsatisfactory.

I Could not find a Download button there, are these videos not available offline? or as part of resource explorer in CCS v7

Please do note that youtube works fine, videos on the TI and code composer channel work fine with my internet connection. If i could have these TI-RTOS available offline, that would be great help.

I am ready for some workaround too, if anything like that is available.

    I'll notify the training group. I don't know of a way to download the video.

    I've confirmed there is no ability to download the video and view it off-line.

    From what I can see, the videos are hosted using brightcove, and they have an option in their tool to provide a download link within the video, near the volume button.
    If this is a policy decision, I am fine with it, If not.. please mention this observation of mine to the appropriate team.

    The policy is not to allow download of video content at this time. As far as the streaming issues, can you help provide some of the following information for us to investigate the issues your are experiencing?

    • Which specific video(s) in the Series are you having issues with?
    • Can you give us information pertaining to your system?
      • What browser were you using?
      • What operating system are you using?
    • What is your connection bandwidth? (if you know)
    • What is your physical location (Country, State)?
    • Are you on a company network (either onsite or VPN)?
      • If so, do you notice a difference when you are off the company network (at home for example)

    - TI-RTOS
    Can you give us information pertaining to your system?
    What browser were you using?
    - Google Chrome
    What operating system are you using?
    - Windows 7 SP1

    What is your connection bandwidth? (if you know)
    - upwards of 20Mbps
    What is your physical location (Country, State)?
    - Bangalore , India
    Are you on a company network (either onsite or VPN)?
    - Company Network
    If so, do you notice a difference when you are off the company network (at home for example)
    - Not much at home I have a 50mbps line.

    Just to clarify: The link you provided to the first question is a link to a tool folder on ti.com.

    Can you state what specific videos(links if possible) in the TI-RTOS series you had issues with or was it all of them?
