AM3354: USB Host USB_VBUS connection

Hi,

I have a question about AM335x USB_VBUS pin.

My customer are planning to use AM335x USB as Host and it will connect to external module via USB.
This extenal module(USB device) don't need VBUS.

In such case, can AM335x USB_VBUS pin be left unconnected(floating)?

In AM335x TRM(spruh73o) page.2502 "16.2.1 VBUS Voltage Sourcing Control",
it said as follow:
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
The power on the VBUS is used to identify the presence of a Host.
It is also used to power up the pull-up on the D+ line.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
So, regardless of USB device requiring VBUS,
AM335x USB_VBUS pin should be connected to 5V power, is it correct?
If USB_VBUS need to be connected, what is the threshold voltage to detect "Hi"level?
Is it 4.4V?

best regards,
g.f.
