Linux/TCI6636K2H: Hello world binary not executable

Tool/software: Linux

I build a hello world program using arm - linux gnueabi-gcc compiler in Ubuntu 16.4 and transfer the executable into executable using TFTB server. when i run the executable in target i received the following error

Hello world binary not executable or file is not available in the directory

i refer the following user manual : MCSDK UG chapter devloping KS II

Hi,

It means it is not cross compiled properly. To verify that in ubuntu do the following in shell:
#file hello.out // Assuming your hello world binary is called hello.out
Above command will confirm if it is cross compiled. Compare that with any other binary that runs successfully in the TI Hardware

Also it is advice-able to use the GCC Compiler that comes along with TI software package.
