Hello,

I see that there have been a number of posts related to this, but I haven't found one that directly answers my question. I would like to confirm that the following statement from the TRM does not apply to AM57x silicon revision 2.0:

"Upon boot time, sysboot15 set at '0' selects a DSP_CLK2 and a sysboot15 set at '1' selects a DSP_CLK3 divided clock version for the DSP subsystem logic and bus interfaces."

AM571x devices have a separate TRM, available for download on the product pages. Current TRM revision is E. Please see section 33.2.4.

Biser, thank you. However, the statement that I gave is also from the AM571x TRM revision E. It is in section 5.3.3.1 on page 1650. So you are saying that this note in section 5.3.3.1 is incorrect?

0x0: DSP_CLK2 is selected. Not supported on this SoC.
0x1: DSP_CLK3 is selected

Biser, I would highly recommend that the first note in section 5.3.3.1 be removed from the TRM because I doubt that I'm alone in finding it to be extremely confusing. The way I read it, if only DSP_CLK3 is supported on this SoC (page 1650), and sysboot15 set at '0' selects DSP_CLK2 (also on page 1650), then I had better never set sysboot15 to '0'!
