Linux/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: PRU UART and PWM examples

Hi,

I am using Processor_SDK_Linux_am335x for beaglebone.

I want to know whether some Labs for UART communication and PWM generation through PRU by remotproc driver are available similar as PRU Hands on Lab?

You need to write your own software. Here is a collection of PRU projects that may help you: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../PRU_Projects Note that these are community efforts and are not supported on this forum.

Hi Biser,
I am following a PID based example "processors.wiki.ti.com/.../PRU_Training:_PRU_PID_Motor_Demo".

Full procedure was followed.
I am not getting pruss_remoteproc.ko in drivers/remotproc folder of my linux system.
And after running the " ./start-server.sh", i get this error continuously-

Please suggest me to get this done.

That wiki page should have been updated to point to the TI Design that was created from it here: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDEP0073. I'll correct that now.

As the design guide states, the provided PRU code in the demo is meant to be used with v2.0.2.11 of the Linux Processor SDK (http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sw/esd/PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM335X/02_00_02_11/index_FDS.html). If you'd like to recreate the demo as-is then you will need to use v2.0.2.11.

Since that demo was created there have been slight changes to the way that remoteproc and rpmsg interact with one another between the PRU and the ARM core. Here are the latest versions of the PRU RPMsg examples that work with the latest Processor SDK: https://git.ti.com/pru-software-support-package/pru-software-support-package/trees/v5.1.0/examples/am335x/PRU_RPMsg_Echo_Interrupt0
