TDA2EVM5777: object detection

Part Number: TDA2EVM5777

Hi,

I have ran this usecase  "vip_single_cam_analytics2" where I found all the objects are not getting detected always, sometimes objects are getting detected and sometimes the same is not detected .

Please clarify it .

Is there any example usecase which detects both moving and non moving objects same time .

Thanks,

Swati

  • Hi Swati,

I have forwarded your question to an algorithms expert.

  • Hi Yordan,

Is their any update on the query.

    Thanks,
    Swati
  • Hello,

We do not use motion to detect the objects.

The algorithm used is similar to the famous ACF algorithm:
    github.com/.../toolbox

The quality of detection heavily depends on training. If the test video is much different from the training set, then it cannot detect well.

If possible, may be you can share your test video and we can take a look at the quality. We also have tools to help you with training, if you are interested.

    Best regards,
    Manu.

In a moving video I want to detect vehicle ,pedestrian ,trees , barricades and obstacles.

I tried running the following usecase  "vip_single_cam_analytics2" which is in the following path :  "C:\VISION_SDK_02_12_00_00\vision_sdk\examples\tda2xx\src\usecases" it is detecting the vehicles ,pedestrian and trees ,at times its is not detecting  .

I have attached the videos which I used for testing ,Please find it.

    Kindly suggest on the same.

    Thanks,

    Swati

  • The file pd.mjpeg is not playing in VLC media player. Which player can I use to play it?

What are these videos? Can you give a brief a description? They don't seem to be natural videos, but some thing created using a game or a synthetic tool?

    Best regards,
