Our customer sent us some questions about PCI Express Advanced Error Reporting(AER) of AM572x.
They found the description of "PCI Express Base 3.0 Specification, revision 1.0" and "PCI Express Advanced Error Reporting(AER)" from TRM:SPRUHZ6H (24.9.1.1 PCIe Controllers Key Features ).
Questions are as follows:
1:Is this AER function proper way of identifying the PCI Express Error?
or Is there any other recommended way of identifying the PCI Express Error?
2:How many customer uses this AER function of AM5728?
(They just want some rough evidence to use this AER function. They don't require precise number.)
Our understanding is "this AER function is designed based on PCI Express Base 3.0 Specification, revision 1.0"
If there are any differences or notice from PCI Express Specification, please tell us.
