Could you please let me confirm following understandings? My understandings are following, am I right?
My understandings:
MII interface should be used for EtherCAT Slave. This is mandatory.
RMII interface is O.K. for both EtherCAT Master or EtherCAT Slave.
Currently I have been developing EtherCAT Master with AM437x. In Bechoff document, there are description as following. Therefore EtherCAT Slave should use MII, I think.
While EtherCAT Master uses "general" Ethernet. Therefore both of MII or RMII are O.K for EtherCAT Master.
