Linux/DRA750: DRA750 RGMII interface directly connect "ethernet sw IC"

Hi,

I use RGMII port 0 interface directly connect to Ethernet SW IC (Marvell 88E6390X) but the ethernet status(ethtool link detected) is always link down.

Would RGMII interface can directly connect to ethernet sw IC? and How to make it work?

Hi Shawn,

What version of SDK/kernel do you use?
Can you make sure you have CONFIG_ETHERNET enabled in the kernel through menuconfig (Menu Config->Device Drivers->Network device support & Menu config-> Networking support).

Are you able to read MDIO registers? You can use u-boot's mdio utility.

Looks like eth. switch (Marvell 88E6390X) datasheet is not public. Can you email me the datasheet and your schematic diagram for Ethernet?
