Hi,

I dug around and couldn't find any information on sustained SATA write speeds for the C674x family. Is there any benchmark data showing maximum sustained write speeds?

We don`t support SATA drivers with our latest software offering on C674x. However, the SATA driver was support with DSP BIOS PSP 1.30.1 and did provide SATA write speeds with the RTOS driver. You can access this data from the link provided below:

Hi Rahul,

This is good information... however, what i'm really looking for is an idea of if there is actual test data showing throughput vs cpu load. similar to what is available for the AM18xx/OMAPL138.

This thread was sent my way, I am essentially reconfirming what Rahul mentions here, the only data we have for c674x is what is captured in the OMAPL138 BIOSPSP "datasheet" in the link Rahul provided.
The data there is running the DSP side driver on OMAPL138 - same family as c6748/6/2 , so throughput will be identical.
The data also seemed to have been provided with corresponding CPU load , pg 26/27.
