AM3358: EtherNet/IP and Profibus firmware

HI all:

Just now we want to develop an custom board and the soc is am3358.
We want to use the pruss to achieve two functions.
One is EtherNet/IP and anther is Profibus-DP.
Now We have check the pinmux and the pruss can get it.
But we don't know whether the pruss firmware can get it.
We don't know whether the pruss can download the EtherNet/IP firmware and the Profibus-DP firmware at the same time

Hi Xixi, you cannot download two different PRU Firmware at the same time. May I ask you why you need both at the same time?

Thanks for your reply.

We want to use am3358 SOC to make an Industrial protocol converter，

which can receive EtherNet/IP data and then send Profibus DP data.

So we must make sure that am3358 SOC can download EtherNet/IP firmware and profibus firmare at the same time!

If the am3358 can not make it true, Can you tell me Which SOC can do this

such as am4378 SOC，am57x SOC？

We have read the document and it described the Conversion from PROFIBUS to PROFINET.

So we want to know whether it support anther conversion, such as PROFIBUS to EtherNet/ip

Hi Xixi, this is a guideline of how to implement a gateway. It might not match 100% for Profibus to EtherNet/IP but definitely could help you as a baseline. Let us know if you have further questions.
