HI!

I am using OMAP3530 only recently, and I know nothing about davinci before.Here's my trouble.

I have installed DVSDK 3.00.02.44 and all its dependences. I have learned that I should go through the CE examples including CODECS,SERVER,and APPS, which I have all successed.

Then I find that I should install dsplinkk.ko and cmemk.ko. Should I compile those drivers independently ?

The xdcpath.mak file in codec_engine_2_24/examples includes the path of dsplink and cmem, then what happens to dsplink and cmem when I make CE examples SERVER and APPS?Is there any relationship betwwen CE and dsplink/cmem ?

When I use CE ,what is the exact steps to complete all the things?

Hello,

The Codec Engine Examples (and any CE application in general) use DSPLink and CMEM thus you will need to compile those respective drivers prior to attempting to run the examples.

The CE Examples come with a build_instructions.html which should provide more information on building them. You may also want to look at some of the wiki topics on CE available at http://wiki.davincidsp.com/index.php/Category:Codec_Engine to better understand CE use cases.
