Hello,

I'm trying to work from the "Audio Preproccessing" demo in the latest TI-RTOS 3.03.00.04 to ultimately create a TDM input through the McASP to DMA and out through SPDIF. Specifically I'm working with the real time "K2g_bf_rt" example as it seems to have a similar hardware route. I'm having trouble deciphering where in the example code are the physical McASP pins defined. I would like to use specific pins on the audio expansion header. I'm using CCS 7.00

Thanks! Another follow up question is that this example mentions working with the "circular microphone board" (CMB) but I cannot find any more information about this board anywhere. Is there any design files, schematics or the like that I can look at? My goal is to try and replace the CMB with 1 TDM input (for now) and be able to run through the demo.

The software that you are looking at was added to the SDK as part of our effort to publish a TI design to do voice recognition using K2G and C5517 using a circular microphone array board [using PCM1864 and 8 microphones].

I see that the TI design for the circular microphone array is already on ti.com:
www.ti.com.cn/.../tidud37.pdf

But the design files and links are still not active yet. My understanding is that the design should be on ti.com later this month.

As far as the McASP pins used to enable this demo, the circular microphone array board has been designed to reuse the expansion header that is used by the multichannel audio daughter card for the K2G EVM. MCASP1 serializers and clock pins are used to connect to the microphones on the CMB.

To utilize the pins, the pin multiplexing needs to be used to enabled in software similar to that demonstrated in the AUD2K2G component:
