RTOS/AM5728: DSP McSPI driver PRCM shut off

Part Number: AM5728

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi, were working on a Linux RT processor development kit environment for the AM572x IDK. We are integrating TI-RTOS apps on the DSP and M4 processors with the Linux RT OS on the A15s. Were trying to configure the McSpi driver onto the DSP without the Spi API but with direct register writes. An issue we encountered was that the PRCM shuts off after about 60us after enabling it. Before shut off were are able to detect chip select , clock and data over the MOSI line on the oscilloscope before shut off.  Linux is preforming all configuration of pad registers including Spi. Any help would be appreciated.
