PROCESSOR-SDK-AM437X: Hardware problem in IDK

Which pins did you use? What did you connect to them?

j16 Connector "Expansion Connector"

Pin19 as GPIO output
pin21 as GPIO input

i connect them instead of using external signal

The software used was code composer version 6.1.2 with sysbios version 6.40.3

I have notified the RTOS team to look at this. They will respond here.

this ISN'T a software or RTOS problem
the kit doesn't power up when connected to the adapter and the DC to DC converter U3 is heating up rapidly.
That happened after connecting the output of pin 19 of the j16 connector to pin 21 after configuring them as shown above to test the GPIO external interrupt, that didn't happen instantaneously but after a while after the connection.

I suspect that you somehow managed to short two outputs on the processor. This is the reason I have asked the RTOS team to look at the code. I'm not a software expert.

we configured one GPIO as input , another one as output ,
the third one which i toggle it " connected to a LED " inside the ISR of the input GPIO just for testing

The pins are GPIO4_20 and GPIO4_21. Why you code did GPIO to 4_19, 4_21 and 5_20? Did you changed PINMUX to set AD23 and AE24 to GPIO before you configure them as I/O pin?
