Linux/PCM2904: Linux compatibility with PCM2904

Hi.

I've issue with PCM2904, I've created pcb with 2 microphones lines, pcb connected to linux machine with ubuntu 16.04, kernel 4.8.0-51, system properly detect device, but alsamixer can't set mic levels, with message - "This sound device does not have any capture controls". But I can set output level.

So, could you please provide information about linux driver, or way how I can solve this issue.

Hi Vadym,

You do not need a proprietary driver for the PCM29xx, the driver is already built in Linux. In general as long as the OS supports USB Audio Class, the device should be plug-and-play and it will work with a standard USB-class audio compatible Linux driver.
But Ubuntu is out of the support topics of this forum. It is focused on the TI's Linux distributions.

I understand, ayes device is plug&play, but I'm unable to set level of connected microphone. Could you please check provided screenshots?

I can set only output level, but I need set input level, cause microphone record very quietly.
