AM3358: Crypto hardware documentation

Where can we find details on the use of the AM335x cryptography hardware. We are looking for all of the standards that are supported, or specifically AES 256 CBC, ECB, and CTR encryption and decryption.

Rogerio,

The forum thread you referenced mentions AES which is clearly stated in the TRM and datasheet and Wiki articles, but does not point to anything on the other standards. So we still need to find actual documentation on the crypto hardware.

The crypto link has a dozen software packages that are supported on various TI processors. There is no indication which ones are supported on the AM335x. Is the expectation that we install all of them and read their installed documentation to find out which ones will work on the AM335x? That seems a bit time-consuming.

Is there a User Guide for the crypto accelerator in the AM335x? It was promised to be included in the TRM quite a while back but has not shown up there yet.
