TDA2HV: Functional Safety ADAS

Dear All,

I would like to ask about the functional safety features and assessment for TDA2x SoC.

I cannot find any information related with ASIL requirements in the official TDA2x user guides and data sheets.

The follow document shows that TDA supports ASIL A.

Could you confirm that this document is agreed with TI and is actual for ADAS applications based on TDA2x?

Hi Yanko,

TDA2x is not ASIL compliant. TDA3x is ASIL-B though, if you are looking into using a TDA ASIL compliant device.

That doc you pointed to is not owned by TI and not a TI official one.
