Hi all,

My code base is Processor SDK Linux Automotive_3.02.00.03 and use dra71-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dtb.

Due to the default AUO panel was broken, I want to use LG 10.1" LCD panel from Vayu EVM for backup solution. Does TI have dra71-evm-lcd-lg.dts for reference?

Hi OC,

the dra71-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dts includes dra7x-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dtsi. Can you try to create dra71-evm-lcd-lg.dts based on
dra71-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dts but to include dra7x-evm-lcd-lg.dtsi and see if it works?

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Here are my steps as below. But no luck to bring up LG 10.1" LCD panel with J6Entry EVM.

1. Copy dra71-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dts to dra71-evm-lcd-lg.dts, then include dra7x-evm-lcd-lg.dtsi as below.

#include "dra7x-evm-lcd-lg.dtsi"

#include "dra7x-evm-lcd-auo-g101evn01.0.dtsi"

/ {

model = "TI DRA71 EVM-LCD-AUO-Display";

};

};

2. Rebuild kernel

3. Console log

www.dropbox.com/.../ProcessorSDK_Linux_3.02_J6Entry_EVM_with_LG_10.1_LCD_Panel

can you remove this line and try:
