TMS320DM8168: Interface to Coprocessor

Hi Team -

I have a question regarding the Codec on Davinci processor (DM8168.) Is there a simple interface to the coprocessor that can be used for a basic jpeg encoding?

I'm looking for basic encoding. The real time is not an issue. I've been looking around and found lot of wrappers but not the actual library on the DSP side.

Can you please comment on where to get the DM8148 JPEG encoder codec? Older posts make it look like we only had decode available, but more recently that we can obtain it from an apps engineer - can you confirm?

Hello,

In EZSDK we do not have MJPEG encoder. We have only MJPEG decoder running on HDVICP.

In DVRRDK&IPNC it seems that there is a MJPEG encoder in the package.
