We are not able to include all of the recommended decoupling capacitance that is on the datasheets due to a very space constrained circuit card. In order to run our own power analysis to calculate what the best solution for our application we need some information regarding the Keystone II part.

I am looking for:

1) On-die capacitance solution (for the AM5K2E04XABDA4)

2) Leaded package inductance (for the AM5K2E04XABDA4)

If this information is not easily available, is there a specified frequency range that we need to be accountable for outside the Keystone?

I don't think this is publicly available, I wasn't able to find it in the device documentation. I will check this internally and get back to this thread.

I believe the IBIS model should have the package RLC details of the device. Please let us know if you need any data beyond this.

The information in the IBIS model is data for the full grid (of inductance by capacitance and resistance). I am not sure we can extrapolate the data from this to get the details for the on-die solution of the chip. Is there any more details that you can provide?

Hi Jared,

We don't release package models for the device. If you want to do PDN analysis, we suggest that you flatten your impedance from the switching frequency of you power supply to a frequency equivalent to the core clock frequency divided by 20. You can find some tools and some discussion about generating a PDN analysis at this location. It was written for a different processor but it applies to the K2E.
